Gold PTT is a photo booster based on Photothermal Therapy (PTT), developed for the treatment of acne and enlarged pores, particularly when excessive sebum production is a factor. The formula contains gold microparticles with a magnetic core, which are targeted to the sebaceous glands, where they act as a chromophore for laser energy.
Combined with a long-pulsed Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser, Gold PTT selectively targets overactive sebaceous glands without damaging surrounding tissue. This results in effective regulation of sebum production and a visible refinement of pore structure.

Gold PTT contains gold microparticles with a magnetic core. After application to the skin, these particles are gently worked into the skin using an ultrasonic device, allowing them to reach the sebaceous glands.
In the sebaceous gland, the gold microparticles act as chromophores. When a long-pulsed Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser is then applied, these particles absorb the laser energy and convert it into targeted heat. This heat action targets overactive sebaceous glands, while leaving the surrounding tissue intact.
The result is a reduction in sebum production, a refinement of the pore structure and an effective approach to acne, without downtime.
On average 3 to 5 treatments, depending on the acne, with an interval of approximately 2 weeks.
The liquid containing gold microparticles is first applied evenly to the skin. Then, using an ultrasonic device, the particles are gently worked into the skin, allowing them to reach the sebaceous glands. Excess product is then removed.
The skin is then treated with a long-pulsed Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser, in which the gold microparticles in the sebaceous glands function as a chromophore for a targeted thermal effect.
